Eco-printing is a process of transferring the natural dyes and essence of a plant onto your material or in this case the hide of your drum. This can be done with a variety of different plants, all with their own unique energies.
​
This process is always a magical one, as the plants reveal to us through their prints, the faces and images of different totem animals and nature beings.
​
This workshop offers you not only the incredible journey of connecting with and weaving together an amazing Spirit Drum. It also offers a deep connection to the plant kingdom, opening a gateway to working with the Land and the beings that dwell upon and within her. This allows for clearer communication and deeper connection.​

This is an invitation to rediscover yourself and your innate connection with Plant Spirits, from herbs like Dandelion and Calendula, Trees like Tallow wood and Liquid Amber and all the plants in-between. Begin your journey, of deepening your relationship with the these powerful plant beings, through the power of Resonant Sound and the Spirit Drum.
This is not just a workshop, it is a return to the Heart Beat of your Soul and a Remembrance of your innate connection with Nature.

1hr from Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie, 20min from Nambucca Heads, 10 min from Macksville and Bowraville.

Payment Plan: $224 fortnightly for 4 payments

There are a variety of Drum Materials available for a 16" Drum.
This may include various types of Wooden hoops and hides. All Materials are top quality. Please note that this is a Stitched style drum with a branch wooden handle.

Includes all Materials for your Eco-print, Drum and Mallet, Ceremonial Supplies, Drum Care Kit, Selection of Teas and snacks, Expert Tuition and Safe Space Holding.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need anything for the Workshop? We supply everything you need to make your drum and mallet, as well as all ceremonial supplies, tea and snacks. If you have a special Stick, Antler or similar you would like to use for the handle of your drum, please bring it along. It is a good idea to bring a bottle for water, comfy clothes and shoes, a shawl, BYO lunch and any things that calls to you.
Do I need to be 'Crafty" to attend the workshop? The short answer is NO, I have taken many people through the process of birthing their own Spirit Drums, many have had no previous craft or making experience.
Can I bring my children with me? If you have a teenager that is keen to make a drum, you are welcome to book them a spot, we always love to have them. The event is only for those participating in Drum Making.
I'm coming from out of town, do you have accommodation? Unfortunately we don't have accommodation at this time. There are some great Air BnB's close up, one directly across the road. The Lily Pad - Tewinga - Airbnb has a 2 bed cabin with 3 beds available just across the road. https://riverviewisland.com.au/stay/ - offers a 2 bed cabin just 1 km away.
What is the cost and what is your refund policy? The cost is from $895 for a 16" Drum, if you are keen on a bigger size drum, please contact me first. If you cancel 30 + days from the event commencement date, you will receive a full refund minus $50 for admin fees. 30-14 days from event receives a 50% refund. Cancellation within 2 weeks of event receives no discount. If you can't attend due to extreme circumstances, please chat to me and we can arrange a transfer to the next workshop. Please note that a transfer fee of $80 will apply to cover admin costs.
What happens if the event gets cancelled for any reason? In the rare case that the event gets cancelled due to illness, emergency or weather event, I will arrange a new date for the event. If you are unable to attend, you can choose to transfer to a future event of your choosing.
How many spaces do you have in each workshop? We offer 8 places in our drum making workshops, some more specialized workshops will have less spaces. Keeping our numbers smaller, means you get quality time and care for your drum, it also allows us to go deep and craft really beautiful drums.
Do you offer Payment Plans? Yes we do, when signing up you will have 2 options, either a payment plan or a pay in full.
What plants will we be Eco-printing with? Plants will vary depending on season and availability.

Hi I'm Tamaryn, I have been journeying with Spirit Drums for over 23 years and have made hundreds of drums myself and guided hundreds of people through the journey of birthing their own Resonance Healing Drum.

Birthing a Sacred Creation like a Spirit Drum into being, is a journey of Remembrance, of reconnecting to that innate part of yourself that "knows" your connection to Nature and all of life. It is really just the beginning of the journey, for once you have birthed and awakened your Spirit Drum, you step onto a path of discovering the gifts she has to offer.

Your drum will be your teacher, your guide, if you can quiet your mind and listen, listen with your heart, and allow yourself to simply be.
